JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

Refrigeration Service Technicians - Victoria and Kelowna Branches:

These full-time positions involve servicing and refurbishing commercial gas and electric food equipment such as: coffee machines, toasters, slicers, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens. Refrigeration work includes repairing and refurbishing refrigeration equipment such as: display cases, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, and ice machines. Manufacturer-training is provided, in addition, there are parts support specialists, field service managers and 24/7 support behind our technicians. All specialty tools are supplied as well as the company truck. Compensation depends on experience. 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate’s background would include some, or all, of the following:

• has Appliance Repair Trade Certification;
• has Gas C Ticket (Gas B Ticket preferred);
• has Refrigeration Ticket (preferred)
• has related experience;
• has mechanical aptitude;

Customer Service Representatives - Burnaby and Edmonton Branches:

This permanent, full-time position involves working under pressure and with tight deadlines. Main duties include: answer telephone inquiries from clients (mainly restaurants) and provide information; explain services offered; enter info from calls and other staff onto computer; maintain records and statistics; complete data entry from handwritten documents and perform general office duties. There will also be projects that require Word and Excel skills. The successful candidate must have an excellent service attitude, computer and telephone skills, and possess excellent English speaking and writing skills (including spelling) and have fast and accurate keyboarding ability (min 50 wpm).

Billings and Collections Clerk - Burnaby Branch:

Th responsible for the customer billings, manufacturer warranty billings and collections of accounts receivable for multiple branches of the company.  The successful candidate will have 1 to 2 years experience working in a finance department of a medium to large sized company, experience with a current ERP system and proficient in MS Office suite of applications.  The person must be a hands-on, organized and motivated individual with a desire to work in a challenging environment.
 
Core Responsibilities:
• Billing customer parts and service orders on timely basis
• Billing manufacturer warranty service work using the required online billing system for the respective manufacturer
• Collections of customer accounts receivable balances and manufacturer accounts receivable balances
• Follow up on customer claims that arise from collections process ensuring the claim is resolved in a timely manner
• Processing authorized customer credit notes
• Processing customers credit card payments
• Maintenance of the company survey data and related reporting
• Verification of sub-agents insurance coverage
• Backup of AR, AP and billing positions
 
Education and Experience:
• Minimum 1 year experience working in finance/admin department
• Experienced in working with a current ERP system
• Experienced with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Specialized Skills:
•  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, with high level of accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail.

Shipper/Receivers - Burnaby and Edmonton Branches:

This permanent, full-time position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: determine method of shipment, prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, maintain internal record-keeping system, record shortages and reject damaged goods, route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received, affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments. Other duties include: stocking and picking parts to/from the warehouse; inventory counts; creating parts transfers in ERP system; forklift operation (training can be provided); cleaning the warehouse; completing paperwork (such as warranty documents, shipping documents, ERP documents, etc.)   

 Qualifications

Parts Sales Specialists - Burnaby and Edmonton Offices:

Key is looking for Parts Sales Specialists who are technical savvy and are passionate about sales. These fulltime positions involve selling parts for commercial appliance repairs, mainly over the phone, and over the counter. The job is customer service oriented, and includes processing payment, operating a computerized inventory system, and providing advice on merchandise.

EDUCATION: some college or technical training would be an asset.

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years sales experience is preferred and experience in the food service industry is an asset. Experience in purchasing, and knowledge of electricity are also assets.

SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED: The successful applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision and have the ability to retrieve information in catalogues and online. Ability to process money, cheque and credit/debit card payments; ability to use software to keep records and place orders. Excellent telephone manner required. Speaking, reading and writing in English are very important. The successful candidates must be able to problem solve, enjoy working with others and be interested in continuous learning.
